Hey Josh here bringing you the first in a new series called Insert Coins: This section will be focusing on some of the arcade/indie games released on the Xbox Marketplace and if they're worth your money.
So to start things off lets dive into Ms. Splosion Man. Now Splosion Man was a brilliant game about a science experiment gone wrong (as many of them do) and the experiment is a psychotic glowing lunatic who explodes but doesn't die. The story isn't explained much and Splosion man is just doing stuff for the fun of it which is an excuse in itself to blow shit up. Anyway Ms. Splosion Man starts with Splosion Man being locked up in a prison safe from his Splodingness (is that a word) Anyway the scientists are celebrating when all of a sudden a machine goes a bit insane a bow falls on a platform and Ms. Splosion Man appears to wreak havoc on the scientists.
The game play is identical to the original and looks to do to the Splosion Man series what Ms. Pacman did for Pacman. Reach out to a new audience and get them interested, which isn't to say this game is just for women. Hell id say it was more for men due to the film references, Views on women today and just all around feel to the game. The only major differences are that your pink, you have a bow in your residue, your OBSESSED with shoes. (no joke)
Ms. Splosion Man is a very likable character and you know your in for a good game when you stand still and the character animation randomly breaks out the Carlton dance from fresh prince or Beyonce lyrics with some familiar dance moves.
I would recommend this game to anyone with Microsoft points looking for something different but with a familiar feel to it and for 800 MSP (Microsoft Points) its well worth it. If your not ready to splash the cash straight away i recommend the demo. It gives you a look at how the game works and lets you play 2 fun levels.

The Amazing Spiderman Pictures
Hey Josh here giving you some new pictures from the reboot of Spiderman "The Amazing Spiderman"
Now Entertainment Weekly have been getting all the best pictures for some comic book movies and it looks like The Amazing Spiderman is no exception. We get a look at the new prototype costume and the webshooters.
So here we have the reboots idea or the wrestling costume in the first Spiderman film. Reboot wins on coolness i have to say. the makeshift costume looks slightly like the final design so its not as much or a stretch to imagine this kid made a full costume.

The Dark Knight Rises Teaser Trailer
After countless fakes, some good and some bad. The teaser trailer for The Dark Knight Rises has leaked online. It's been bootlegged from a cinema and it is certainly real. We see footage from Batman Begins and The Dark Knight with voice over included. There is a shot of Gary Oldman in a hospital bed in pain asking for Batman to come back. There are flashes of Bane fused with the crumbling images of Gotham we saw in the poster a few days ago. So here is the trailer, watch quick. Chances are it might get taken down. I shall give my thoughts below the trailer.
Hopefully it stays up and you guys get to see it. I personally think its brilliant. For a teaser trailer, it gives us quite a bit. The camera zooming up through the buildings as rubble falls is my favourite part. That not even footage, but it's still awesome. The chanting and the last scene of Bane appearing behind Batman is quite menacing. Altogether, this is a great teaser trailer. We actually got footage, which is more than The Dark Knight teaser.
So what do you guys think? Like it? Hate it? Are you looking forward to The Dark Knight Rises? Leave your comments below.
Thanks.
Chris.

The Dark Knight Rises Poster
Hey Josh here bringing you the first official look at the poster for The Dark Knight Rises.
The picture appeared on thedarkknightrises.com
All i can say is well done sir. The poster is very simple and gives away nothing but at the same time reveals a lot to people who have been following the every move of this movie and what we are able to piece together from set visits and scene descriptions.
The poster shows us that Gotham is going to be well and truly fucked up. Which allows us to believe they are going to follow the comic story very faithfully and bring a lot from the Knightfall story. Which leads us to believe that the story will be a lot like this.
Bane fights Batman and realises he cant win so he retreats and comes up with a plan. He breaks into Arkham releasing all the psychopaths Batman put away over the years and lets them raise hell in Gotham and leaving Batman with the near impossible task of rounding up all the prisoners before Gotham falls. After months of rounding up criminals Batman is tired (mentally and physically) This is when Bane strikes and breaks Batman's back and destroys him. But rather than kill Batman Bane decides it is a greater humiliation for Batman to live knowing he had been bested both mentally and physically and the rest of the story is Batman rising up again to defeat Bane and take back Gotham.
So what do you guys think? Can Nolan work his magic a third time and make the most perfect trilogy in superhero history? Comments below.

Horrible Bosses Review
When it comes to comedies this summer, we have been treated to a variety of comedies. There was terrible like The Hangover II, mediocre like Bad Teacher and great like Bridesmaids. Now we have Horrible Bosses, a new comedy with Jason Bateman and Jennifer Anniston. See, you are worried already. You are having troubling flashbacks to 2010. A little film of horrors called The Switch. Yeah, that film was torture. Horrible Bosses on the other hand is a different kettle of fish. There are comedic actors playing many funny characters. Altogether just better than the The Switch.
Horrible Bosses centres on three average Americans called Nick (Jason Bateman), Dale (Charlie Day) and Kurt (Jason Sudekis). All three have a problem, there all hate there bosses. Played by Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Anniston and Colin Farrell. So, after a night drinking they all decided to kill there bosses. Now, yeah it sounds stupid I know. The premise isn't close to realistic, but that is what makes Horrible Bosses funny and great.
Horrible Bosses is the latest feature film from director Seth Gordon, the man behind the great documentary King Of Kong: Fistful Of Quarters. Gordon has the talent, proved it with King Of Kong and further proves it with Horrible Bosses. I am very excited to see what he does next. It seems these days that good comedies are a rariety. They are either dissapointing or uninspired. This film benefits greatly from two things. A slick and funny script and a talented cast. All three of the leads are great. They didn't fell hollow, I genuinely liked there characters. But there was something about Charlie Day in this film that was just brilliant. This is the first time I have seen him and he is hilarious. I look forward to seeing what he does next. Jason Bateman is great as always and Jason Sudekis is better than he was in Hall Pass which is saying something.
I can't honestly think of anything bad with the film. So therefore I should give it ten out of ten right? No. See this film is great and for me doesn't do anything wrong. But I think it stands out even more because of how bad some of the comedies have been this year. So yeah, I liked it. It's enjoyable, it's very funny and it's better than most of the films in your local cinema. Good direction, a fun script and hilarious perfromance across the board make Horrible Bosses a great anti-hangover film. Just see it and have fun!
7.5/10
Thanks.

Mortal Kombat Legacy New Image
Hey Josh here giving you some new news on the Mortal Kombat series made by Machinima. So it appears we arent quite done with this series and it was just taking a little sleep. But never fear for Cyrax and Sektor are here.
Yes it appears that the machanical ninja duo are making their way to our screens when the show returns. We saw hints at the cyber program in the first episode when we where introduced to Kano and Jax. We see a helmet on a conveyor belt that looks very familiar.
Anywho heres the image:
So what do you guys think. Personally i think they nailed it. Cyrax and Sektor look just like in the game. (minus the wire dreadlock ponytail)
I can only hope that we get more fan service in the form of more Scorpion and maybe even introducing some new characters from the newer games e.g. Kenshi.
The episode featuring the cyborgs is set to debut at Comic Con along with some new news as to where the series is going.

Now Loading... Abes Odyssey: Oddworld
Hey Josh here giving you another Now Loading... with this one we will be looking at that lovable hard working revolutionary. Abe.
This strange looking alien was a part of a lot of our childhoods and was one of the first 3D side scrollers on the PlayStation. The story follows a worker on "Rapture Farms" a food processing company that uses slaves of Abe's race to work in their factories and dedicate their lives to the corporation. One late night Abe stumbles upon a board meeting and hears the company is losing sales so they need a new product called New n Tasty which was made with a new secret ingredient. After listening in some more Abe finds out the ingredient in question is his race, so Abe finds himself on the run attempting to escape the factory and save as many of his people along the way.
As you can see the intro graphics have stood the test of time well and don't look outdated as much as other PlayStation games. The game was a 3D side scroller that used some interesting abilities that hadn't been used much in other games. First off Abe had the ability to gather other employees and order them about by simply saying "wait here" or "follow me" this allowed players to check out areas ahead before running in with 3 followers and losing one because you couldn't turn around fast enough. Another fun mechanic to the game was the ability to control the guards. This ability gave the player the ability to go the gun toting psycho and take out other guards or just run into a giant saw and take him out that way.
Another neat point to Abe's Odyssey was the amount of cool immature things you could do that gave the game a lot more playability. While you tried to solve a puzzle you could pass the time by passing gas ( literally Abe would fart ) and the best part was if you had followers they would all laugh at your impressive ability to fart on Que. Another little neat thing i liked was if Abe runs into a wall rather than just hit it and have no reaction Abe would fall on his ass and grunt as if he was annoyed with himself ( Or the player )
All in all Abe provided players with an old style of playing and Incorporated some new techniques to make it more interesting and appealing to a wider audience. The game was fun and had a lot of serious undertones that where not too obvious and didn't beat us over the head like a lot of children's games and films do now.
So there you go. Go check out Abe's Odyssey: Oddworld if you haven't already. its a fun game with a lot to offer and really deserves a HD remake for modern platforms. I know i would buy it again.
